Our Origin

The Jet's Pizza Story

It all started in 1978 when brothers Eugene and John Jetts opened a small pizza shop in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Armed with a secret dough recipe passed down through the family and an unwavering belief in quality ingredients, they set out to create the boldest pizza in Detroit.

"We didn't just want to make pizza — we wanted to make the kind of pizza that people drive across town for. The kind you remember for years."

What began as a single storefront quickly became a neighborhood institution. The unique square deep-dish crust — crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside — became the hallmark of the jets pizza experience. Word spread fast, and by the late 1980s, Jet's pizza had grown into a regional phenomenon.
